Nelson in Bath. The launch event for the Self-Guided Walking Trail of places and people connected with Admiral Lord Nelson in the City of Bath.

Nelson in Bath – 23rd June 2018. The launch event for the Self-Guided Walking Trail of places and people connected with Admiral Lord Nelson in the City of Bath.  A joint project created and sponsored by The Nelson Society and Bath World Heritage  .
The event starts at the historic Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institute (BRLSI) at 10h with coffee on arrival and will be followed by a selection of presentations following the theme of the Project given by Barry Gilbertson on behalf of Bath World Heritage, The Nelson Society Members – Chris Brett, Raglan Tribe, David Bullock and Peregrine Hood, and our guest speaker Susan Amos who has created a very original history tracing the lives of Nelson’s Sisters and their presence in Bath.
Following this at 13h00 we have a buffet lunch organised at the exclusive Bath and County Club (50 yards from BRLSI and at 14h00 all attendees will have the opportunity to walk around the Nelson in Bath Trail using the Guide Document that we have created.
The Walk takes approx 90 mins and we then return to the Bath and County Club where Cream Teas and an Open Bar are available.
The complete event is priced at £32.50 each (morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and personal copy of the Guide included).  We are limited in numbers so places will be allocated on a first come basis.  Should you wish to attend please contact brianjhall31@gmail.com
