This year marks the 215th anniversary of the history-making Battle of Trafalgar and the 15th New York City Pickle Night observance.

Those interested in the historical significance of the battle and the astonishing life of Admiral Lord Nelson as well as an illustration of the “Special Relationship” between our two navies are invited to “attend” this special VIRTUAL event.

Registration with ticket purchase is required.

For those unable to join us live, the recording will be available from noon the following day.

Join us as we travel via live video to Portsmouth, England.

Be welcomed by First Sea Lord Admiral Tony Radakin to his Flagship HMS VICTORY, and take an exclusive tour of the oldest navy ship in commission, which was Lord Nelson’s flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar.

Funds raised through your donations will support the preservation of the Museum’s historic naval fleet, including HMS VICTORY. This event is named for Her Majesty’s Schooner PICKLE,  the smallest British ship at the Battle, which brought the important news to London of the battle victory and Nelson’s death.
