Trafalgar Weekend, Greenwich A weekend of events based in Greenwich, including the AGM, and our Trafalgar Dinner at the Trafalgar Tavern. Further information and Booking form will be published later.

Pickle Night Dinner & Remembrance Event, Portsmouth Evening dinner at the Royal Maritime Club to commemorate the arrival of HMS Pickle in 1805 carrying news of the Battle of Trafalgar. Remembrance Parade on Sunday.  Event details to be confirmed.

Battle of Cape St Vincent Commemorative Dinner This special event will take place in the House of Lords, London on Friday 14 February Further details including time and Booking Forms will be given in forthcoming issues of the ‘Nelson Dispatch’

The visit to Antigua will take place from Friday 14 March – Friday 21 March and will include a tour of Nelson’s Dockyard.  Further details can be found in the ‘Nelson Dispatch’.

It is hoped to visit Pinner in this joint event with The Emma Hamilton Society and Pinner Local History Society.  Visit Horatia's grave and evening talk by Lily Style.  Contact Sue Morris to register interest and more information.

Members are invited to our 2025 commemoration of the Battle of Copenhagen on Saturday 12th April 2025.

  Our visit to Deal, Kent is planned to take place in  5 June.  A daytrip to this important port of Nelson’s time, guided visit to locations associated with Nelson, the Hamiltons and Captain Parker. Further details and Booking Forms will be given in forthcoming issues of the ‘Nelson Dispatch’.  

        The Service for Seafarers will take place in Portsmouth Cathedral and will take place on Sunday 29 June (date TBC).  This annual service will be followed by a procession to the Nelson statue on Grand Parade for a wreath-laying ceremony.
